Here we will look at the four variations of the standard single paradiddle. These rudiments have accents in them. An accent involves hitting harder or with more force than other strokes. Aim to create a big difference in volume between the accents and non-accents. Feel free to try them first without the accents. Do these rudiments at 60 BPM or slower until they are really comfortable. Try them at first without the metronome.
